    SURFACE PREPARATION

Concrete: Remove slip agent and other possible contaminants by emulsion washing followed by high pressure hosing with fresh water. Remove scum layer and loose matter to a hard, rough and uniform surface, preferably by abrasive blasting, possibly by other mechanical treatment or acid etching. Seal surface with T.T SF epoxy sealer, as per relevant painting specification.

Over Ceramic surfaces: the surface of ceramic must be sanded and the glaze surface must be removed and make sure the surface after that is clean, dry and free from oils or grease.

Metal Surfaces: Metal surfaces must be free from oil, grease and any kinds of liquids. In addition, the surfaces must be sandblasted to reach to uniform surface then apply one coat of epoxy primer before applying the product.

    PRECEDING COAT

Epoxy Sealer SF / Epoxy Sealer SF-MT

    MIXING OF THE PAINT

Mix part A for three minutes to make sure that there no settlement in the paint. Pour part B over part A, mix the two parts for 2 - 3 minutes by an electric mixer with low rotation speed (< 300 rpm). Add the silica sand gradually during mixing. The epoxy must be well mixed to ensure proper chemical reaction. After mixing, keep the mix to rest for 1 min before the application.

    FOR ANTI SLIP SURFACE

For anti-slip surfaces, fine sand must be spread on the top of the paint while it is still wet. The surface is allowed to cure for at least 24 hours; the excess aggregate should be vacuum cleaned from the surface then apply a 2nd coat with a medium texture roller of T.T Epoxy Top coat SF. Care should be taken to ensure that continuous film is achieved and all grains are completely covered and coated by the epoxy mixture. The optional slip resistant texture is provided by the range of the coarse sand selected

    APPLICATION CONDITIONS

Use only where application and drying can proceed at temperatures above 5°C, and relative humidity is below 75%. Apply only on a dry and clean surface.

    WEATHERING

The natural tendency of epoxy coatings to chalk in outdoor exposure.

    SAFETY

Application should be done in a ventilated area away from any heat source. Wear protective gear for hands and eyes and avoid breathing of vapour. If mixed resin comes into contact with the skin, it should be promptly removed before hardening, followed by thoroughly washing the skin with soap and water. In case of heavy vapour inhalation, place affected person in an open-air area. In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. In all cases, seek medical attention. In case of fire, use CO2 foam to extinguish. Tightly seal containers when not in use, store them away from heat and carefully dispose empty ones.
